David
is a fifth generation Muskegon County resident. His great-great
grandparents moved here from New York in the mid-1800's. They
lived and farmed in Montague Township until his grandfather moved
into Muskegon, where he was one of the founders of Roosevelt Park.
Wife Nancy's family spent their summers on West Lake and she
owned a cottage on Middle Lake for a number of years. Ten
years ago David and his family moved into their current home in
Twin Lake.
As
your County Commissioner, David will be the Peoples' Advocate with
local and State government regarding the important and special issues
affecting the lives of people in the rural areas and subdivisions
of Blue Lake Township, Cedar Creek Township, Dalton Township, Holton
Township and the Village of Lakewood Club. As a resident of
this District, David realizes that often times this area's needs
and concerns are different from those in the more populated urban
areas of the County. He will make sure those issues are fairly
and adequately addressed.
